Modular Water Treatment Plants and Water Features

Süd-Chemie incorporates some highly professional specialists in the discipline of modular drinking water plants, designed to process water from rivers, lakes, dams and boreholes that are contaminated with high solids, high iron and high colour levels, to make them fit for potable consumption and/or industrial use.

This team of specialists also design factory effluent systems incorporating combinations of dissolved air flotation, filtration, flocculation, acidification, pH correction, settling and oil separation.

Public and hotel swimming pools are designed by this specialist team including all aspects of flocculation systems, chlorination systems, dual media filtration systems, and hydraulic systems.

Landmark water features are designed and installed by this same specialist team which includes the design of fountains, ponds and waterways, using the latest technology in dual media filtration, chlorination systems, hydraulic design and water chemistry.

Aqautic Life support Systems

Aquatic life support systems are designed and installed incorporating biofilters, deep bed coarse media-surface, airlift drivers for aerobic treatment, down flow-upward aeration, foam fractionators, protein skimming, dual media filtration and hydraulic design.

Mobile Drinking Water Systems

These are produced in a variety of sizes, treating the following flows:

1. Aquasprite (small units) 1-5m3/h of raw water.

2. Aquamobile and Aquatraveller Mobile Units 2-10m3/h of raw water.

3. Aquaspring (large plants) 5-200m3/h of high turbidity water.

4. Aquatainer transportable containerised units 2-100m3/h of high turbidity water.
